Dr. Sarah Ghayouri moved to La Jolla from Atlanta, Georgia two years ago. She had practiced internal medicine and anti-aging in Atlanta for 20 years, and when she arrived in Southern California, she accepted a job as a medical director at the federal detention facility in downtown San Diego. “I transformed and improved the quality of the health care at the facility,” she said. “Everybody says they can’t compare it now to the way it was before I came here!”
